Accurate product at fantastic price,
I ordered these strips looking for an alternative to the name brand strips. The price of the One Touch strips is astounding. I was a little unsure of this strip at first because it is so cheap, however the results are very very accurate. In fact I would argue MORE accurate than the name brand strips.
I have had them for a week now and every time i check my sugar i, i also test with One Touch to make sure they are accurate. Every time I have tested they have been within 3 mg/dl. The Genstrip result was closer to my doctors result than the One Touch was! After seeing the results I came on here to write this review. I know lots of people are struggling right now financially and hopefully this helps some people save money.

With Sensible Precautions They Can Save You Lots of Money,
On my machine these generic strips read about ten points lower than standard proprietary One Touch Blue strips but they are reasonably consistent so I can mentally adjust - if the generic strips read, for example, 150, I can fairly safely assume that the One Touch strips would probably read in the 160 range. In my own experience, actual brand-name One Touch strips have read as much as 20 points apart testing both strips on the same machine within seconds of each other, so given that even the brand name strips can vary so widely, these strips are reasonably consistent.
Make sure to adjust the machine's code to match the generic strips, use testing solution regularly to calibrate the machine, and occasionally compare a reading between the generic strips... Read more
